Maastricht Durbanville Merlot

Great example of cool-climate Merlot. The nose shows hints of the spicy characteristics of the variety, but is complemented by dark berry fruit flavours. The influence of French oak plays a supporting role and does not overpower the wine, allowing the fruit to shine through. These flavours follow through on the palate, finishing with a juicy and elegant mouthfeel, typical of the Durbanville area.
